Hey guys, not so long I had an idea of creating an app for language teachers. It unfortunately didn't succeed but something else came up, here is the story.
At first my goal was to create an app that would be used during the corona era (yes it's definitely an era ) to get pupils or students to practice their hearing and repeating skills of the language they were learning at school, or in class. The app was supposed to record the teacher's voice and tone, store the file and upload it to a database classified by date folders. One student would reach the teacher's files, play an uploaded file and repeat it according to the tone and accent ( because we all know someone with an accent so strong we don't get what he says). The app would record the new file and check if it fits the uploaded file from the teacher.
During the coding, I asked myself "Dude why aren't you sharing more stuff". By this, understand that if we already share some "tune" we could also share PDF, docs, images, videos... the idea is clear. That's why, I kept the recording part of the code and started implementing a browsing option into the app.
At the end the app is not checking what the student is trying to repeat from a recorded file but allows users to share files without having to communicate.
It became a shared database for several users ruled by one main one where just one is registered.
What can we use this app for ?
Let's see several ideas :
You are a teacher, you want to share files from your last lesson without having to be in one more annoying What'sApp group, just upload them there, give your students the code and you are free.
You have a small company, you want your documents to be reachable by X and Y, upload them there, give them the code and they won't be able to say they didn't get it.
You want to share some personal stuff with your friends, you partners, pets without having to pass through a social media, Easy Sharing is here !
By the way you cannot tell anyone you need more space in you phone storage, because the app weight only 5MB, Such a light little thing can accomplish so much. I'm moved.
